Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan asserted, the plan to allow the pedicabs back to operate is to make Jakarta better. It is because it will be set as an environmental transport.

I affirm that we do this to make Jakarta better

"We will set in a place that its citizens need as a transport environment. But do not imagine pedicabs are on each street in Jakarta," he stated, Wednesday (1/17).

He explained, the plan of allowing pedicabs back to operate is also because the raid process is not really thoroughly controlled.

According to him, it still becomes a daily transportation in these places, as some people still need it.

"Many p eople still use pedicab every day in the capital," he asserted.

By setting the operational location, Anies hopes Jakarta can be felt as a place for all.

"I affirm that we do this to make Jakarta better," he stated.
